I've logged in to my ebay selling account and it's so different. is there a really simple tutorial that goes through ebay selling as it is today?
i.e fee's / postage commitments / how we get paid etc etc?
it used to be list with a photo, set a delivery charge and get paid normally by paypal.
thank you.

actually. i think i'll just list something and see what happens. the process must ask me where i want monies sent from sales as it appears its paid direct to a bank account now?
any advice truly welcomed.0 -
It’s probably best to set up your managed payments as soon as you can in case of issues. You will need to verify yourself and your bank account. Money is paid into your eBay account net of all fees , and on Tuesdays after payment the money is sent to your bank.FVFs are paid on both item cost and postage, you set your own postage method and you can buy postage direct from eBay.Listings are free for private sellers and usually every other weekend most, but not all, private sellers also get a reduced FVF offer. However as a returning / new seller you might not get the offers for a while.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. @soolin, is it possible that as OP hasn't sold for a while, eBay might treat them as a new seller and delay their payments until there is a "proven sales record"? Just a thought . . .1

Paypal can still be used by a buyer but instead of paying the seller, they pay eBay and eBay pay you. When you set up a managed payment account you can’t see how a buyer has paid, it all just comes in one lump. That means as well that you no longer have to put your PayPal account anywhere when you list, as nothing will go there.
I don’t know how to set up managed payments now, I’ll try going through the help pages when I’m next in my PC, when I did mine I got a message from eBay with links and details, and it was quite easy, but that was some years ago now.As a returning/ new user you may find you need to register a payment card as they are trialling a scheme where offers accepted are paid automatically.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Your selling overview will tell you the number of items and financial limits per month

thanks all. I've spent a bit of time just going around the site and its beginning to come together. it does ask for my password an awful lot and I've disabled 2 step Ver. for now as it wanted to send me a text with virtually everything i did.
being a bit OCD i'll need to allow some time as i'll want to click on every link in the account settings to make sure it's how i want everything, even down to email delivery options
spoonie T. that 1st link doesn't tell me i have any restrictions but maybe after i list something. the 2nd link doesn't work but I've found the relevant info.
thanks to all.0
