Well done on your win at court.flash2004 said:@Umkomaas - FYI...When you've gathered your thoughts, perhaps you can give us some details of the hearing - which court, Judge's name, who did the PPC field to represent them, what did they have to say, what did the Judge have to say, did you have to speak, on what basis did the Judge find in your favour? This information really does help us to understand the courts' and Judges' thinking which in due course helps other motorists who inevitably fall foul of litigation-rampant PPCs.Nice one. 👍
I'm actually collecting examples of DCB Legal discontinuations before a hearing. Seems that Spring Parking didn't want them to drop your case, making your beating them at court very special. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The main issue was that the photos of the new entrance signs they included in their witness statement were 6 months after the date of the incident.. whereas my photos on the day didn't have any of those signs present. The claimant acknowledged that my version of the photographs was correct.. Other points were not discussed after that as the judge mentioned that since there was no sign on the entrance as per my evidence, there is no way the driver could have known about the contract and hence on that basis the case was dismissed.
The original judge was busy so case was transferred to another judge, I can't recall the name at the moment.7 -

WOW, you are saying that DCBL did not know but the "rent by the hour"legal they sent ... DID ?
OMG, no wonder the Judge spanked them1 -

I don't much about this firm and didn't know they were that litigatious as its the first time I've personally heard of one of their cases ending up in court! They clearly don't have a clue how court works. Sounds like these greedy con men were conned by even bigger greedy con men (DCBL) into paying them to take an unwinnable case to court. They should be suing DCBL next time 😆 well done mate.3 -

There are professional legals and then there are legals who still think the Kray twins operation is an option and use the courts as debt collectors ..... the latter is called the great parking scam95Rollers said:
