Hi
My contract expired today so looked the MSE deals and I liked the Lebara sim only one for 6.90/months where you get a 40 quid voucher.
Clicked on 'get deal', provided my email, and carried on filling in information on the sign up page, then i saw an email had come in so i flick to the email tab, email from lebara 'to secure the voucher the transaction needs to be completed in one session and you mustnt click away from the page or it may not track correctly and you wont be eligible for the voucher' *headdesk
of course by this point I had clicked on my emails to read so navigated away from lebara, returned to lebara and completed sign up successfully. The validation period is 6 months and obviously I factored the voucher into my decision to pick this tariff, so does anyone have any experience if the voucher will still come through or if theres a way to tell if it linked successfully ?
Poorly designed customer journeys are so annoying
Thanks for any reading and any info

I don't go for deals with vouchers unless theres no other cheaper option because past experience I never received the voucher.
Check out uswitch, they have a deal with lebara where the first 3 months is cheaper then goes back up to full price. I much prefer these deals. MSE used to have alot of these deals but seem to be reducing in favour of the voucher option probably because after the 3 or 6 months people moveFTB - April 20200 -
What they normally say is not to navigate away from the page. Switching to your email app would not cause an issue unless your phone is low on memory in which case the browser window would be closed.
I personally don't like voucher deals as they are more involved and not seamless.0
