I would expect the Monzo account to go, as that’s actually a bank account. The Wise might be OK, having a CIFAS marker tends to mean you have to make do with prepaid cards that aren’t actually bank accounts. Check requirements of any potential providers to see what they say before applying, so you don’t open something that will end up being closed in short order.

I think Think Money accept CIFAS markers, but there you have to pay a monthly fee for a no frills account.

How does anyone ever get paid a salary with a CIFAS marker if every bank account gets closed ??
Search for previous threads on here about that, such as:

  • Sorry to hear about your problems. I too went through a similar experience 2 years and learned a lot about what banks can and cant do. I also struggled to open another account elsewhere. On hearing how many people this has happened to I decided to share the knowledge I gained and write a website offering help and advice on dealing with debanking (this includes suggesting the most likely banks to accept you). It's free and be found at bankinghelp.support. I hope it helps!
