APCOA PCN - Bham Airport

Hi, so a PCN from APCOA has been received stating that there was an alleged contravention of dropping off or picking up outside of the designated area (along with photos).  I've looked at the templates in https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822/newbies-private-parking-ticket-old-or-new-read-these-faqs-first-thankyou#latest and I cannot see the template that fits this.  Can anyone help please?

The keeper should use the template in blue text from the first post of the NEWBIES thread underneath the heading,

TEMPLATE ''ONE SIZE FITS ALL'' FIRST APPEAL THAT DOESN'T SAY WHO WAS DRIVING:

Add a one liner that since the airport is not relevant land and APCOA's PCN is not PoFA compliant, they should cancel now to save themselves money.

I've just realised that I missed this off   since the airport is not relevant land and APCOA's PCN is not PoFA compliant, they should cancel now to save themselves money. I  hope that doesnt impact on the appeal?

Knowing how intellectually malnourished they are at APCOA, it more than likely meant that they reject your appeal. If so, just submit a POPLA appeal stating that you are the registered keeper and cannot be held liable for the actions of the driver. You are under no legal obligation to name the driver and so they should either cancel the PCN or else go find the driver (which they can't).... or words to that effect.

You can search the forum for many similar appeals/POPLA.

Great - thank you   I did wonder what the chances of a first appeal win.

The chances of a first appeal win would've been very good if you had included that extra sentence.

Hi @Fruitcake @b789 & @KeithP thank you so much for your help. I received the following notification that the fine had been stopped 

“Having considered the circumstances. we have cancelled the parking charge Notice on this occasion.”
