Hi sometimes if I ring my partners phone I get no ringtone, then after about 5-10 seconds I get welcome to Lebara voicemail. If i end the call and immediately call again the other phone rings normally. My daughter just tried to ting me and the same thing happened, she got welcome to lebara voicemail. My phone shows no sign of an incoming call
Is this a problem with Lebara or my phone ? I appreciate any thoughts. Anyone else with Lebara experienced this, cheers

EDIT
Just chatted with Lebara who suggested turning VM off then on again, which i did. Got my daughter  to call and she got line busy, got my partner to ring and my phone rang :(

EDIT

Put sim in another phone, daughter called and phone rang, put sim back in old phone, daughter called got line busy. I think i need a new phone

Make sure you haven’t accidentally blocked the numbers concerned on the affected phone. One way to test is to call your mobile from one of the other phones but withhold the number. If it rings then, but doesn’t when you present the number, then the number has been blocked accidentally.
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Thanks for reply. Looking at the call history logs,to my amazement sometime in July the number started to be blocked. I looked st my blocked list and the number wasn't listed. I removed all blocked numbers, but this did not help. My daughter then said to check my spam settings. Having unchecked the see caller and spam ID the problem was solved, calls are no longer blocked.
So who filters the 'spam' callers, is it Lebara my provider

Sounds like you are describing the Android/Google spam blocker that's part of the default Android dialler app.
  • Since my original post I have bought a new phone. However my problems persist, yesterday I rang my partners phone, I got silence for about 7 seconds followed by welcome to voicemail, the same thing happens when my partner rings me. It doesn't always happen, just randomly.  i contacted Lebara who suggested I input ##002# then reboot. A message came up about call forwarding erasure came up.
Does anyone know what this means, I am seriously thinking of ditching Lebara and trying Giffgaff.
    Cheers
