6.2% is 0.2% above the next best rate available. However 4.95% after tax, so around 0.75% below the best one year fixed rate ISA, if you have any isa allowance left of course.ColdIron said:Highest ever rate and a big leap from 5.00%2 -

once bond is opened how long have you got to fund before no more can be added as i see it says you cant top these up in the year?

If done online you need to add the funds straight away by debit card when opening the bond. I couldnt see any way of opening to secure the account then fund later. So I presume it's a one time funding.

I think you can only open a bond with a single payment but nothing stopping you opening multiple bondssouthone said:once bond is opened how long have you got to fund before no more can be added as i see it says you cant top these up in the year?2 -
Normally you would fund the account with a debit card at the time of opening. If you want to add more then you would open additional bonds. 30 day cooling off period

so you can only max out the faster payment limits or debit card card one? how would you get the max 1 million in or a larger figure
