UKPC PCN NTK

Hello,
We've had the nasty latter from these cowboys through the post and I'm ready to fight with them.
The NTK is dated 21/08/2023 and the driver didn't have any windscreen ticket when the "offence" took place.
Apparently the vehicle was not parked correclty within the markings of the bay or space but from the pictures provided doesn't show the markings on both sides. They also don't specify the period when the vehicle was parked there either so the driver didn't have any grace period to agree to the parking terms.
We can appeal the PCN online and don't have to wait for 26 days.
Would worth complainign to the landowner (a retail park) as well? It's rare but they might speak to the parking company and cancel the PCN.
Thank you

It's not an offence or a fine.
Yes just try PLAN A then PLAN B as explained already in the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am not sure what other pictures you want.1 -
There are more photos online. Or is this all of them? It isn't great parking, to be fair.

But of course you don't pay UKPC.
There is no white line on the left hand side of the car and the vehicle is barely over the yellow ones.0 -

I am not sure what other pictures you want.
There is no white line to mark the bay on the passenger side and the vehicle barely goes over the yellow line.
Anyway, the PCN doesn't specify the period when the vehicle was parke like that.
IMO, the driver didn't have time to agree to the parking terms, maybe he went to read the signs and then moved the car when returned ?!0 -
Same advice as here:

Thanks for replying here, I spoke to the driver and I've got their side of the story.
The driver parked like that because children were on the back seat and they needed more space to fully open the doors on each side without hitting the cars parked on each side.
Then the driver went to read the parking signs and see what was the maximum time allowed and if payment was required.
This took a few minutes, then returned to the car and moved it within the bays.
The driver didn't get any PCN on the windscreen at the time, most probably because the person who took the pics saw them returning. The timeframe shown in the pics taken by the parking company is 22s between the first picture and the last one.
Anyway, I'm prepared to fight with the parking company.
Next step is to contest the PCN, I don't know if is worth mentioning the above (most probably they won't give a monkey) or just use the template kindly provided on the newbies post.

The driver did some shopping in the area that day. I'm wondering if is worth contacting the shop owner or the management company of the retail park and ask if they can do something about this PCN.
On the NTK says 28 days to contest it so plenty of time available to get an answer from the above 2 until we can appeal online to the parking company.0
