Hi
I have just read my latest Bank statement and i find Virgin Media have been taking a extra £8.00 each month from my bank account, so i checked back and they have done this for the last 3 months.
I was paying £9.75 a month.
No-one from Virgin Media contacted me to say they were doing this
can i claim back this money?

I cannot get through on phone line, just stuck on hold.
Do anyone have a direct number? or a direct email address to the
right dept.
Thanks.

Were you on some kind of special offer previously that may now have expired so now you're paying the going rate?ITV Winners Club #87 :eek:0

I was with NTL and after the take over Virgin Media got in touch about
Broadband etc, and i said i was shopping round for a deal
anyway i said i would stay on as long as Virgin Media would
give me the same deal they were giving new members, £10.00
and they agreed.
Did not say anything about any time period, or special deal.

Best to phone between 10 and 4 .
Failing that , reclaim under the direct debit guarantee ?0 -
The deal's that the retention team offer only last for 3 months then you need to get them renewed. It's not something they chase you about to let you know it's expiring.0

I managed to get through, spoke to 6 employees before i got any proper
help. Seems Virgin Media have moved telephone operations to India or Pakistan.

not so. I have an ongoing deal with Retentions with no expiry date. Depends on what you negoitiate with them:j0 -
Well its safe to say that the OP hasn't negotiated a deal with no expiry date isnt it?0

Well, yes it is safe to say that, except that you implied that ALL deals are for 3 months only0
