Unregulated private parking companies cannot issue fines, so VCS will never have paid to produce a sign with the word fine upon it.39Brushhead39 said:Don't want to state which Airport at this time,
The question is does any one know if Vehicle Control Services have ever issued a PCN for £1000, answer so for is NO
Thanks will view Newbies thread
If you want the regulars here to help you, you will need to give us certain specific information.
If you are unwilling to supply this very basic information, the regulars here will not be willing or able to help you
Please do not be so paranoid about this.
Please tell us to which airport this post refers.
Please post a photo' of the alleged sign showing a £1000 charge.
Thanks for your comment, however my questions have been answerd, when and if a PCN is issued my answers will be fully answerd. Its just driving me NUTS waiting with the added problem of the £1000 sign.Fruitcake said:

When I get the PCN I will advise Airport, the sign may have not said FINE but it did state £1000, when PCN is issued it will clarify.
Again many thanks for your time0 -
Hi all, again, a 3rd question.
3/ How long do I have to wait for a PCN from VCS tobe issued, incident was on 31/7/23
Thanks in advance0 -
The answer is... it depends.39Brushhead39 said:Hi all, again, a 3rd question.

Anyone can start a court claim with anyone else up to six years after the disputed event.
Under their contract with the DVLA, a parking company has up to six months to get vehicle keeper details from them. The BPA and/or the IPC allows their members another month to get a Notice to Keeper to the keeper.
That is further qualified if the parking company wants to try to transfer any driver's liability to the keeper. In this case The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 insists that a qualifying Notice to Keeper is received by the Registered Keeper within working fourteen days of the alleged parking event.
That's without considering hired or leased cars.
Please show us a picture of that £1000 sign as soon as you are able.1 -

Many thanks for the info, so seven months for notification, to get a photo of the sign would mean a 130 mile round trip and entering the Airport once again, which I will never do. I am an old guy who seems to be getting confused easily so will not put myself into ''unfriendly situations''.KeithP said:
