Airport drop off confusion

Hi All, a couple of questions about an Airport drop off.
1/ Do Vehicle Control Services have to issue PCN in 14 days, if not how long.
2/ Has Vehicle Control Services ever issued a PCN for a £1000, stopped at a sign warning of a £1000 parking fine

Waiting is driving me nuts

    No I dont think it was, the last part of question 2 says he stopped at a sign that said this.

    No Airport would let them go that far and the cap in the IPC Code of Practice is £100.

    Unregulated private parking companies cannot issue fines, so VCS will never have paid to produce a sign with the word fine upon it.

    If you want the regulars here to help you, you will need to give us certain specific information.
    If you are unwilling to supply this very basic information, the regulars here will not be willing or able to help you

    Please do not be so paranoid about this.

    Please tell us to which airport this post refers.
    Please post a photo' of the alleged sign showing a £1000 charge.
