Vodafone have always been very good and if there's a problem they always resolve it.Cheaper than BT too for most services.0

I can't comment on Voda's CS as I've not yet had to contact them.I'm probably switching away but that's simply because I'm expecting to find a better deal rather than renewing. As this thread's been bumped, I guess I can update it.Yes I did switch, to Shell (became TalkTalk). I had no problems with Vodafone and only switched on price. I'm still using the Vodafone router as the Shell one was a bit pants by comparison.

On FTTP the guaranteed minimum speed are much lower on Vodafone Vs BT.

I switched from Onestream to Vodafone a couple of months ago. Vodafone's customer service is significantly better than Onestream's (not a high bar) and so far I've had no issues with Vodafone. I don't use Vodafone's router as I've plugged it into my eero router. I pay £24 a month which is quite good value and I'm supposed to be getting a £45 Sainsburys voucher (which I'm still waiting for).

Vodafone still have one of the highest number of complaints per 100k customers as published by Ofcom and are in the bottom quartile of the customer satisfaction surveys. This has been the case for years and shows no signs of improving.
Their router hardware is not particularly good either with poor wifi coverage.
Cheap for a reason.0 -

the changeover from BT to VF was seamless, never had any reason to contact them so dont know about their customer service.. IMO the router was better than the BT unit, took less time to reboot after power cuts, had better range - right across the garden as well, and had the option of assigning separate SSID to 2.4 and 5 GHz channels.
They also refunded the over payment when we left them. In fact we would have stayed if they hadn't cranked the price.
I might go back when my present deal ends if VF is economically advantageous.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1 -
How configurable is the vodafone router? Are you able to adjust the internal IP ranges it dishes out?
Can you adjust the settings via the web browser?
Are you tied to having the ISP supplied router or can you use your own?
If you opt to have a landline is it just provided via the BT phone socket?0
