1p Mobile - Data charges on day of boost auto-renewal

Just a warning for anyone that has their data boosts set to auto-renew.  I noticed that I had been charged for data between 0000 and 0059 on the day my boost renewed.  When I queried it I was told that it was because it can take 30 min for the new boost to be applied, leaving a gap.  They credited the 80p back to my account but I wonder how many have had this but not noticed.  A few pence every month from all their customers will soon add up.

I too am begining to wonder about 1p mobile practices, I had 15 pounds credit and set a limit in my mobile router to switch off once 45 per cent of the data was used which the router MC888 did flash an indicator and then shut the router down. However 1p mobile said i went over the data limit, I then got in touch with ZTE to ask how accurate the data feature built into the router was and they said it is acurrate as all data passes through the router.
I have raised a complaint with 1p mobile. I suppose the old saying appears to be true, "to cheap too good to be true"! the other claus that 1p mobile have is that you have to write to their manager via the post if your not happy with the first stage of your complaint, a communications seller asking customers to write via the postal service, sounds very odd to me, perhaps the next reply will be we did not receive your complaint via the post!!. I have suspended my account until I hear further

I have never seen a router manufacturer claim their router is accurate. In fact everyone I've seen has a warning that it isn't. (There's a few reasons why it can't be)

Not defending 1p just throwing it out there.
