  • I don't think I have ever had that with Amazon (but have not enabled 2FA with them so they don't know my mobile number) but it happens always with Google and a few other sites. 'A login has occurred with your account, was it you?'. Of course it was, you don't have to tell me every time.... I don't think they can be disabled, it would be nice to have a 'don't tell me again' button.

    I think the text + email *is* two factor authentication. I don't get this everytime I visit their site, but I do get it whenever I sign in. Perhaps you need to try to get it to keep you signed in?

    2fa is where you need a second piece of information to log in other than your password eg some numbers in a text that you must read and then input.
