Is it possible to stop Amazon texting my phone and e-mailing me every time I go onto the site.
It's very annoying!
David.

Well I've just been on there for the last 10 minutes or so and I haven't had a text or an email...In fact I've never had a text or email from Amazon while i was on their site.I've had promotional emails obviously and emails about updates on occasion if I've ordered something and its on the way but apart from that...?Not sure what you're getting (or doing) is all I can say.Is this the website or the app?1

Same here, never had texts or emails just visiting the site. Are you using a VPN with different locations triggering
security checks?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

my guess and it is only a guess is that if you turn on 2fa you won't get these messages0

Two factor authentication, you turn it on in your account settings.
Have you also set the browser you are using as a trusted browser?0 -
https://www.amazonforum.com/s/question/0D54P00007VAQqVSAX/ive-received-several-unusual-signin-attempt-detected-emails-from-accountupdate - see the post from CBRetriever on Page 2. Do your notifications looks like that or something similar to that?If so that suggests your account has been compromised and you should change your password immediately, or right away if not sooner.0

No 2fa here. Same password for many many years and its shorter than they allow now but have never been prompted to change it.
No emails/txts unless I purchase something. The only thing I do get occasionally is to verify my transaction with my banking app but
the strange thing with that is it allows me to buy something for £400 with no check but something for £19.99 and it wants to check?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
