Yeah agreed but atm there is no loss. You've got the item back and the money was refunded.
You're free to re-sell the item.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
You were onto a loser straight away because you did not use a post method that gave proof of delivery.
Sounds as if the buyer went straight to his credit card for a charge back without putting a claim in with paypal. Was the buyers address confirmed?
Can't remember whether the addy was confirmed or not, or even whether the person actually got the player. I put a claim in with Royal Mail at the time as it hadn't reached the buyer (or so I thought at the time)
It's the £7 I am peeved about, they get comission on nearly every item on eBay (at the rate of about 55p for every tenner in this case) and they charge me the money when they didn't even have to give that £7 back to the CC CompanyWycombe Till I Die0 -
Frankly, with a fee of £7 you got off lightly. You could easily have lost your item and ended up £48 down. Or worse:

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

Do what every other business do including Paypal and factor in your losses.
I have been charged the £7 fee once, although a pain at the time its not a problem when spread over hundreds of sales.
Without Paypal selling on Ebay would be much harder and slower, sometimes its better the devil you know.0
