Passport renewal - success story
Comments
-
I ordered a new passport last October (so, out of the holiday season) in anticipation of a trip in June this year.
I went to 'Snappy Snaps' for a digital photo upload which was linked with my online application.
I did the online application on Monday, went to Snappy Snaps the same day, received an email at some point asking me to sent my old passport back (which I sent first class recorded). My new passport was in my hands on the Thursday.
It took less than 96 hours with the online application and Snappy Snaps linked photograph service. It would obviously take longer during school holidays. So, if you're ordering out of busy times, there is simply no reason to pay for an express service. With Snappy Snaps there is no chance of your photo being rejected (I'm not on commission, this is just my experience. I forget how much it cost, but probably under £20).
