    Are you asking whether moving to France attracts some sort of UK tax? I can't see why it would. You'd pay the same tax on the sale as you would if you stayed in the UK. Which will be nil if it's been your main residence throughout your ownership.
  • You'll be liable for UK capital gains tax on the sale unless the property was your main residence.

    I trust you have done all the research needed to understand French residency and tax laws - they are quite complex and likely far more relevant than what you are asking.

    It depends how long you've owned the house for. Social charges could be due in France. You'll need a right to live here too.
