Holiday Rental Refund
We recently booked a holiday rental for 3 nights in Wales through ‘Holiday lettings.
On late arrival it was clear the property and its amenities offered were shocking,
tired, worn down,
missing, broken and general cleanliness unacceptable. We vacated the property 7:30am
the following morning (12 hrs. in total at the property). Owner was contacted that morning
and a refund requested which owner has ignored.
Holiday lettings will not give a refund either as we did not contact them on the day of arrival but there help page say complaints should be logged with owner first and to contact them if an agreeable outcome is not achieved.
What are the next steps? What are my rights, if any?
I did pay on credit card, am I protected for this type of situation?
Thanks

you should have contacted the owner when you arrived and not stayed there. Staying one night wont help you1
