Flogas Price Increase Letter (Year 2)

Hi Folks,

Just received a letter informing me that the ppl will increase from my current price of 51ppl to 63ppl when the 2nd year of my contract starts at the end of September. However, I had previously had a fixed price contract (through LPG Save) of 51ppl with a maximum price increase of 5ppl in the 2nd year.

Am I correct in thinking that I am now able to terminate the contract by informing Flogas (within the 14 days of being notified of the increase)?

You may find that the LPG firm will want to take their LPG tank with them as the transfer of tanks is for the end of the 2 year exclusivity period rather than anything else.

After contacting LPG Save, they told me it must have been a mistake and to contact Flogas. Sent Flogas an email and they responded saying it was an error and have honoured the previously agreed price cap.

Good result!  I wonder how many other of their customers have not been quite so diligent?
