We have one. The sterling engine doesnt work now and this autumn nor the boiler. We had an enthusiastic gas boiler engineer try to fix it but to no avail. What did you do in the end?My house is not really suited to a heat pumb so it has been replaced by a conventional Worcester-Bosch boiler that I am very pleased with. It is more powerful than the Baxi and the difference is noticeable. But it does not appear to use quite as much LPG as the Baxi did.We did benefit from the generation payments over ten years (and then they just stopped!) so it wasn't a financial disaster in the end, I'm glad we had it but I would think twice before doing something similar again..
If what I said helped you, please "Thank" the relevant post. It cheers me up somewhat..0
