Does that have a physical wall-mountable switch option?

The kinetic switches are a cool option, although I'd probably move the cable.

I still don't know how to safely chase cables in the loft conversion without damaging the ceiling and the wall0

If it was me and the doorway into the bedroom is from a landing
I would drill from the existing switch inside the bedroom through the wall to the landing
There I would fix another switch and connect the two as two way switches so the light can be activated on and off by either
Cost would be negligible, one switch and a foot of cable0 -
For me the main fear is drilling and cutting through that plasterboard. I don't really know how much I can go and how resistant it is0

Piero, could you undo the existing switches and note the wiring behind them? Post photos.
If they include neutrals, I think there's a very easy solution. If they don't, then you'll need access to the wiring area above the light fitting in the ceiling. If you cannot, then you can do it at the rose itself - but you'll need to find a way of hiding it, perhaps by finding a new light with a suitable hollow rose.
Or, a WiFi bulb and switch - not sure they exist.
Or a sparky, but that will need wall channels to some degree.0 -
Or as simple as this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285424973623?Not pretty, but no at all wiring required. The hand-held/ wall-bracket-mountable controller would also allow the light to be operated from the bedside if that's a useful feature. (No idea of its quality).Lots like these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115812418093? That's just an example. I've seen them with receivers with a low 23mm x 22mm profile, so could be passed through a hole that size into the ceiling void under the light fitting's rose. One wee issue - it would need pulling back out if you had to 'pair' it again.

I'll take a picture in the week end. I'm away right now1

Any update, Piero?
I hadn't realised such wireless switches were so available. Curious to hear how it goes.0 -
Hi, not yet.
I have to finish my flooring at the 1st floor (hopefully this week) before I open another war front, if you know what I mean.
