Road tax gap?

    People are slow these days, it took 9 posts for someone to mention this, oh and you forgot to mention it hasnt been called 'road tax' since 1937  :disappointed:

    Just checked on the car I was out in this morning and found it’s tax ran out in May. Bought new tax, but they do note that the DVLA may be in touch about the gap in tax. I assume I didn’t get the reminder as I usually pay it immediately I receive it. Lesson learned, hopefully not to expensively.

    Don't know how much they chase up. My daughter forgot to renew hers earlier this year (March). Ended up missing a month and heard nothing since.

    If only we still had to display the tax disc in the windscreen.
