                    Hi,
I booked a return flight with Ryanair, because of change of circumstances, I couldn't take this trip.
Will Ryanair refund any taxes?

In principle they'll refund taxes, as they're obliged to, but since they charge an admin fee for doing so, which will usually exceed the refund, the answer is effectively 'no'!In accordance with Ryanair's General Terms and Conditions of Travel government tax refunds are subject to a reasonable administration charge of £17/20EUR per person/per bookinghttps://refundclaims.ryanair.com/1

depends on the route - likely APD of £13 which covers departures from UK up to 2,000 miles1

Good question - I thought they used to itemise costs with booking confirmations but don't think they do this anymore, and I can't find the info for past bookings on their app.borderline said:

It would typically be Air Passenger Duty for flights departing from the UK, which is £6.50 for domestic and £13 for Europe, hence being outweighed by the admin fee....1 -

And for future reference you don't book return flights with the low cost carriers.
You book two single one way flights.
