Power reserve

My sister and myself are joint executors. I signed a paper giving her permition to carry out paperwork on my behalf.  I have power reserved.ive asked for documents to be sent to me as an update on all thing regarding my father's estate. I was told by her I no longer had the right to see these receipts.is this correct ?. She also says my father left her extra money from this estate but no paperwork can confirm this.  Can she just take out extra money if she pleases
The will states to be split equally after bill are settled. But she has the bank account that money from my dad's estate gone into . So far I'm stuck with no power to stop her.. any advice . Please

If the will does not mention this extra inheritance then it does not exist. As a residuary beneficiary you are now entitled a set of estate accounts as well as 50% of the estate. If she tries a money grab then I am afraid I would tell her in no uncertain terms that you will take legal action if she attempts it.

Yes this is what I've been reading on the Internet.but she has a law unto herself .and dose not like to be told . I'm glad you have told me this information. It would seem I'm better off not applying for probate myself as It would appear I am liable as executor  both can be responsible for each others actions .I will remain as a beneficiary. I think I'm better protected by the law. Thanks so much for your advice .I hope in the near future I can give you better news . Ps she has sold many of my dad's items .car .TV.computers. dose this money have to be put back into my dads estate .as she has already spent it . Thankyou .

Everything she sells has to go into the estate. She can charge the estate for things like postage and photocopying but not her time.

Sounds as if you need to become an active executor again.

Are there any formalities to go through to step up again after renouncing?

I have to apply for a form from probate it's called an order .for her to supply accounts on my father's estate. Also affidavit.this is the first step
The solicitor says regardless of my power reserve. I'm still an executor .I can step in at any time. If my letter to her dose not work .a solicitor will Write one for me. A cost of approx £600.3 hours work . Money I do not have .
