Calculating CGT - Transfered-in unit trusts

I'm trying to work out my CGT position on a portfolio partly built up over years, but also added to recently by units in the same funds that I inherited and were transfered-in. The base data I've been given doesn't show a value against them and I can't find any guidance on how to adjust my average price calculation to take these transferred-in holdings into account. Can anyone help please ?

The inherited shares should have been valued as part of the estate handling, for probate and/or IHT purposes, did the executor fail to do this? Is it feasible to trace the market value on the date of transfer, or any other date deemed more appropriate?0

Yes, I was the executor and have a valuation of each unit holding but it was 4 months prior to the date of transfer. If that's still likely to be acceptable to HMRC then great. Many thanks. Appreciate your help.0

Reading up a bit more on this, it's the value at date of death that counts:
