how to cancel 1 month contract
Hi Guys
i have just took out a sim-only deal with EE i got it because i was a Plusnet customer and got a 1 month deal, trouble is i don't like the speed i am getting from it
It was suppose to be 5G and up to 100m download which would have been fine but am lucky if i get 5/20m and 0.45 upload so i was thinking of cancelling the contract and going somewhere else
its not where i live the EE 5G signal is really good here.
Do i need to ring them or can i just get a pac code and give it to another provider?
( I am still in the 14 day cooling off period)
Thanks for any help

If you really want to cancel then speak to them asap.1

You can text for the Pac which will also give you any costs you'll incur to leave if applicable.1

I would think it depends how much you have used your sim already. Generally you would be wise to inform thenm you wish to exercise your cooling off rights as you should then get back any money you have paid but be liable for charges while they have been providing the service. If you text pac within your minimum term you are likely to be charged an early termination fee. Check the wording on your cooling off period. There is also a difference between a monthly contract and a month's bundle as to whether you can get a refund on charges paid imo.1

If you need to retain the mobile number then don't cancel but request a PAC.1
