Please bookmark it & come back as we need another week or so to think about our 'recommended' responses to the Consultation a bit more (what we won't do is provide a template, for obvious reasons).

@Coupon-mad I have one last thing to ask. I have until the 8th to send my WS an Evidence bundle, and tomorrow (5th) at 4pm is the deadline for the claimant to pay the tribunal fee. Shall I wait tomorrow to send my defence hoping that the BPA will get back to me too? or shall I just send everything as soon s possible?

Witness Statement plus Exhibits bundle,  not defence,  why not check with the court on Thursday and submit it Friday

Dear @Coupon-mad and everyone else who helped,
Thank you so much for guiding me through this. On the 6th—one day after the court fee deadline—Civil Enforcement sent me a Notice of Discontinuance. (Sorry for writing only now but I've been travelling since)

The trouble I went through because of these scammers has taught me a lifelong lesson. Even for a small amount of money, the panic and shame I felt during their trial of intimidation were real. They are an evil machine.

I was lucky enough to find this forum, to receive help from selfless and kind people, and to come out of this stronger. I feel sorry for all those who don’t know how to fight back and end up enriching these criminals.
