Hi MSE community
I hope everyone is doing well in this summer time.
I'm writing as I received a letter 'Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing)' and I'm not 100% sure what to do.
The letter specify that the claimant needs to pay £27 otherwise the case will. be struck out. Will they pay it? I wouldn't if I was them. (thank god I'm not).
It also says to send to both parties the documents 'on which that parties intends to rely at the hearing", by the 8th of august. What kind of documents I would need? my ticket and the BPA web page about the 5 minutes rule?
it's dated 11 July but a tt he end of the letter writes 'Date 4 June 2025' and I'm not sure where I received this letter from as the return address is in Birmingham and it seems like to be a rented office...
Thank you in advance for your help and kindness.

Thank you all. I read the newbie sticky.I’m not sure if there is a standard format for evidences (exhibits) . Should it be all one pdf, including statement and evidences?
in terms of evidences I was thinking of including
-my original pay and display ticket
-the bpa article about the ban of 5 mins rule
-screenshots of the site review ,mentioning the machine is faulty and no accepting cards
-a bbc arcticle mentioning the Robinson case
I’m not sure if I should include all of these?
Thank you all for your time and kindness.0 -
I'd suggest three PDFs. One is the signed WS and the other a merged PDF of exhibits in number order.
Then a third single page of your costs.
But:
Send a quick complaint email to the BPA AOS team today, telling them I sent you because this is a 5 minute rule case being litigated and they should investigate and get the case cancelled. They've already achieved that in another case here.
Include your VRM and the PCN number and claim number. A picture of the NTK and/or the Claim form will also help identify the case quickly, as well as proof that you told DCB Legal months ago to wind their necks in because the '5 or 10 minutes to pay' term is unenforceable ... which is why it's banned.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
