Hi, i have had a PCN ce-service civil enforcement. I went 35 minutes over in one of there car parks. I appealed saying it was the first time i had used the leisure centre which it was and that i didn't see the signs. They have wrote back and said there are plenty of signs so i have 14 days to pay £60.

Do i have to pay this? i certainly don't want any CCJ's or bad credit.

@col81, your best bet is to get this thread moved to the Parking tickets board.

Perhaps the easiest way to make that happen, is to simply hit the Report button below your post and ask for the thread to be moved.

There's a whole section about parking charges including up to date advice and templates. Probably best to start there.

    Next time get advice first.
Before you give them any info they could use against you.
Was it a ticket on the car or a or fine, ie camera.
If it was a camera at the entrance, they did not see you car in a disabled bay with your friends disabled badge ?.
Did they. Did they fall, have an accident and need a change of clothes.
That took you past the 3 hours.
Just kidding 😎, that would be wrong.

No, people don't and won't pay this extortionate sum. Next time come here first though.

What happened when you complained to the leisure centre?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You don't "have" to pay them anything. It is not a "fine". It is a speculative invoice for an alleged breach of contract from an unregulated scammer private parking company.

Do you have any idea about how you get a CCJ? It can't just "happen" because someone sends you an invoice. If that were the case, I would send you an invoice and you would therefore "owe" me and be in "debt" to me... or would you?

Read the Newbies/FAQ thread and understand the process and where you are in it. Have you tried Plan A? Complain to the landowner and write to your MP. You failed at Plan B. Did you receive a POPLA code for your Plan C?

As you are likely to lose the Plan C appeal, you will then be on to Plan D where you weather the storm of useless debt collector letters and wait for a court claim where a judge will decide whether you "owe" or have a "debt" to the scammers. That's assuming they don't discontinue before any hearing because you used the robust defence template provided here.

    Go read the Newbies/FAQ thread.

Please don't ignore it or pay anything, you don't have to.  Why would you want to give money away? Work through the links suggested above, making notes as you go if that helps, and come back here if you don't understand anything.

Nope you don't - that's the whole point! We have s template defence and see court claims off every day.

Please get the leisure centre to cancel it.

That's PLAN A and it's not a lot to take in.

    Hi,

The Leisure centre said its nothing to do with them. i signed up for a £90 per month membership for me and my 2 children i have cancelled that they just said nothing they can do and appeal which i did stating it was my first time at the leisure centre and that i would cancel my membership they don't care. Is there a simple list of people i can send a email to and then i will to try and stop this. All i care about is my credit being damaged if that won't happen for me it can be ignored
