Evening everyone
We're in the process of selling and buying and really wanted to exchange last week (as did the rest of the chain), but there's an issue with the title deed for the place we're buying meaning it needs to go back to the lender just to confirm their valuer is ok with it.
We were told they would respond within 2 days but it's now been a week. I've been chasing everyday through our broker and solicitor but no response!
Is there anything else we can do?? I'm worried this could just keep rumbling on :-(
Any thoughts/advice appreciated!

What's the "issue with the title deed"?

The property is split over two title deeds, so we're signing two contracts.0

Yes different sellers because one is owned by both sellers and one only by one. In any case, the lender have said we can't exchange till we have their response. Just wondered if there's anything we can do to get a response! They were originally contacted about this 3 weeks ago.0

You could try starting their complaints procedure - might make somebody pay attention.0
