So I’ve been with three for several years now. I have phone and iPad contract ending in several months.
the digital at my registers address(and locally) have been awful. 1 bar a day for months, at times it cuts out. It also bad when I travel, some local areas are just as bad.
ive complained and got some success, but they close the case after offering smallish discount.
problem is it’s everywhere, in my area it’s non useable at times as with other places.
surely they can’t away with this, what must I do, send a complaint and ask for a huge bill reduction then ask for email saying they won’t agree to my resolution if they don’t do it and send ot to ombudsman service?
its really annoying me how bad it is and that if I dont pay bills I just get letters/debts and bad news

Has the signal in your locality deteriorated over time?None of the providers guarantees coverage everywhere and unless there is work which has specifically reduced the quality of your service then I'm afraid you won't get anything.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1

Well I had normal/good coverage until one day I’m getting 1 bar and 5x slower speeds and even times loosing all signal, after couple days I’m onto three and got may bills pretty much free. Was told it was congestion be fix sometime in June. June and July go by I manage to get few £5 off my bills get told be fixed by middle of July.
August comes still no fix, made second complaint got some money off bill again, nothing special. I recently moved to a big town where signal is good, but any quieter area or family ares are terrible.
It’s a deliberate change/upgrade/test. Normal signal to unusable signal0 -
Bash your details into here first:If there is a known fault there is little point complaining about it to Three. If you think the problem is with Three, find another 3G capable phone, get a free PAYG sim from Three, feed it some credit, and see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away the issue is not with Three.0

The problem with the Three coverage checker is that it will tell you that there is a problem in the area and their engineers are working on it. (The usual one is that engineers are working on a mast so the others are working harder)But what it normally means is that the network is horribly congested due to years of underinvestment and engineers working means thinking about a new mast or upgrade. This goes on for months until they finally let you cancel. If they were honest that the network is poor outside of a few urban areas then people wouldn't join.O2 are honest with their coverage checker (that they have limited 4Gand 5G ) which allows people to make a considered decision.0

unfortunately 3 and indeed no mobile network guarantee coverage everywhere so even if your signal bars went down to zero you would not be entitled to any compensation.
it's not like a landline where if you pay for a service to your address then you are entitled to expect it to work there.0
