Fading posts when read

In the old forum, there used to be a way of showing that posts had been read when you had finished reading them, and leaving the forum.

Haven't read all the posts in this section, but Is there any way of doing that with the new forum?

Not sure what exactly you're asking (or what device you're using). If I look at the threads list for this board (using Chrome on desktop) then threads with unread replies are shown in bold, whereas threads I've read are shown in normal font.

    Thanks for replies.
I thought that with the old forum there was something that you could tick which would blank everything, leaving only new posts standing out.
