They won't. Even if they do, it will only be via silly letters. You're not going to be intimidated by letters .... are you?starz786 said:Thank you^I just got worried because mine say “parking charge” and I didn’t want SABA/ZZPS chasing me for 6 yearsPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So no solicitors, court notice or threatening a CCJ?0

Vanishingly unlikely. But what if they (SABA only) do? You must have seen the overwhelming success rate this forum has when PPCs are daft enough to try a court case against one of the motorists we are helping.starz786 said:So no solicitors, court notice or threatening a CCJ?Take it easy, sleep well. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. starz786 said:So no solicitors, court notice or threatening a CCJ?All of the above laughable rubbish that I've put in bold might happen (ZZPS use QDR solicitors letter-heading I think, as well as GCTT threatening to kill your cat) - except a 'court notice' WHICH WON'T HAPPEN
Please trust us.
No court claim will happen.Did you read the 4th post of The NEWBIES THREAD or did you miss it?

Yes they do.starz786 said:Do Railway Bylaws apply at the carpark? Please advise accordingly, I’m just very worried and not getting anywhere with SABA.
Confirmation that Chesham LU Station car park is subject to TfL Byelaws as from November 2014:-

But please listen to the guidance you have been given.3 -
So what does subject to bylaws actually mean here?0
-
It simply means that the parking company cannot use the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 to transfer any driver's liability to the vehicle's keeper because the station car park is not 'relevant land' as defined in that Act.starz786 said:So what does subject to bylaws actually mean here?
In your case it just confirms that as long as they don't know who was driving, they have no-one to chase.2 -

If you are up for REALLY helping:
Please read the DLUHC's latest move towards ending this 'extortion' - an analysis that was published at the end of July.
The forum is discussing it on this thread:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6463361/dluhc-private-parking-code-government-launches-call-for-evidence-discussion-thread/p6
Please read it and learn about the need to respond to the private parking draft Impact Assessment this monthYou want to help us change the law?
To be clear, we are nearly there; it's not a petition or some weak campaign, it's a final push on a law already passed, to cap the £PCN levels and ban the fake DRA fees.
The Government has a Call for Evidence open right now.
We are particularly wanting photos of unmanaged car parks and Asda/Tesco/Sainsburys £70 signs or Hospital £50 or £60 deterrents (or car parks with broken signs) please.
Post your pics of "no deterrent" or "low deterrent" (signs no more than £70 near you!) on that thread please.
