DRO

Hiya
I was issued my debt relief order Sept 2020 all has been well since,  clear. No debt no nothing. Just had a look at my credit score and it says I still have a default on there... this was part of my DRO. Please could someone advise how I can clear it after all this time, as I want to improve my score a little. I also still get statements from a debt that was also included, should I still get these 3 years on?

Thanks 😆

Do you have a copy of the DRO notice from 2020?  if so you could send that to the 2 companies and ask them to correct their records.

Just keep in mind that defaults stay on file for 6 years regardless of any debt solution you may use.

It will be automatically removed on the 6th anniversary of the default date, or your DRO, whichever is the sooner.

FYI, all accounts should show a default date no later than the start of your DRO, all accounts should show a zero balance, and should all be marked as either "settled" or "satisfied".

They should only send statements whilst an account is live, with a remaining balance, your debts are now settled by insolvency, so there should be no correspondence about them, period.
