Paying via Paypal on Ebay

I don't buy much on Ebay but I will need to make a few purchases over the next few days. I still have some money in Paypal which is still linked to my Ebay account. If I use paypal to pay, does the seller end up paying more commission?
Just don't want to upset any sellers by using paypal if they end up paying paypal charges as well as Ebay charges.

No difference to the seller if they are on managed payments, would have thought most are by now, but either way no reason for anyone to get upset as the fees for eBay are fairly level to what they was with PaypalIn the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1

Sellers pay the same fees regardless of how the buyers pay, even if buyer pays cash.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Use Paypal. I purchased a multi socket charger for phones etc. a few years back. After several weeks I noticed one of the USBs did not work. Tried to contact the seller several times without any response.
Then someone told me to claim through Paypal which I did not know was possible.
Got my money back within 48 hours.1 -

Under the old system the PayPal payment went to the seller, your account showed some variation of payee along the lines of ‘eBay- Soolin’s shop’ so any INR or SNAD was handled by the seller. Now the payments show only the eBay managed payment system , no seller name so any claim is made against eBay. An INR is still likely to work as that’s a matter of fact but an SNAD is likely to be very difficult .I’ve been trying to find more details so we can discuss it on here, but there’s very little info as most people of course if they have an issue get it sorted via eBay processes and never have to resort to trying PayPal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The last thing I bought on ebay using paypal (and I now usually just use a card instead) shows the payee as"Seller informationeBay Commerce UK Ltd"
there is no other information or link to the seller at all, the only way I can find to see what that paymnt related to is to look at my lists of purchases and match up the payment amount.
Therefore any claim made on paypal would be made against ebay commerce limited, and not the seller.
As far as I can see sellers can't even see how buyer originally paid, looking through my sales I just see payments made via ebay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
