Nollmt.com keep taking money out of my account

I have phoned then several times and emailed them. They appear to be an umbrella company for adult dating websites. They claim every time I contact them that I have subscribed to a trial which has now matured to full membership. I have not. The amounts are eye-watering and I really cannot afford to pay them any more. What do I do?

How are they taking money from your account, i.e. is it a continuous payment authority or a direct debit? Either way, you can instruct your bank to cancel the arrangement and prevent further payments being taken - this doesn't have the effect of cancelling any contract you've entered into, so the company may still pursue you for payment, but if you're confident that it wasn't authorised then you can challenge them on that without having to do so while still paying them....0

Are these Direct Debits or CPAs (via your debit card)?
If you didn't authorise them then tell your bank the payments are not authorised. The bank should stop them.
But are you sure you didn't sign up by accident - a free trial that involved giving card info? You wouldn't be the first to fall for such schemes. If you did you may be in contract and so just stopping payments won't stop the debt building up.
But if you think this is a genuine error - either someone setting up a DD with your bank details deliberately (or possibly in error by mistyping an account number) or someone mischievously setting up a CPA (for which they'd need to have seen your debit card) then you should be able to stop it.
Edit, I see eskbanker made similar points whilst I was posting.0 -

Thanks everyone. I'll chat with my bank and get them to deal with it.0

Call your bank and tell them it's Fraudulent payment. Get them to charge it back and block that vendor0

Sounds like someone somehow got hold of your banking details and used it to register on adult sites without your permission. If this is the case, then it is fraud, and should be reported to both your banks fraud department and the police?1

As above, report it to your bank as fraudulent. Ask them to cancel and block all future payments, and also to refund the money already taken. Probably wouldn't hurt to ask for a new card to be issued as well.0
