I'm surprised they don't inform their customers when they put up their rates (still not received an e-mail), others do ... e.g. Chase informed me yesterday morning that they were putting up their rate to 4.1% on the 14th August.
We get emails from Marcus every time they increase the rates

Thanks for your quick and very early replies.
I also receive e-mails (not this time yet) but always after the event, last time it was 10:16 on the date of the change (7th July 4.00%) where I was the one to notify the board via a thread when I discovered the rate when logging on; indeed the wording is 'we've increased the rate'.

It risks people shifting funds to other accounts too quickly.
    We got ours yesterday lunchtime.

    Hello Sarah,

We wanted to let you know we've increased the underlying interest rates on our Online Savings Account, Cash ISA and Maturity Saver from 3.64% AER to 3.94% AER. If you hold an Online Savings Account or Cash ISA and you have already added the bonus rate of 0.34% gross, your total rate will be 4.30% AER / 4.22% gross.

The increase has been applied to your account(s) automatically. You started earning interest at the new rate on 3 August 2023.
