We get emails from Marcus every time they increase the rates 

Thanks for your quick and very early replies. 
I also receive e-mails (not this time yet) but always after the event, last time it was 10:16 on the date of the change (7th July 4.00%) where I was the one to notify the board via a thread when I discovered the rate when logging on; indeed the wording is 'we've increased the rate'.

It risks people shifting funds to other accounts too quickly.

We got ours yesterday lunchtime.
