Hi everyone, thank you so much for your replies and support! @Le_Kirk, I did submitted a defence letter at the very beginning of this process; does that count as a witness statement, or is the witness statement something different that I need to prepare now?

@Coupon-mad, I will indeed! I will be checking my emails every day. I cannot wait for this to end, and if I’ve got so far, it has been only thanks to your help, guys!
The defence letter is the one I have at the beginning of my thread, that i wrote on the 8/8/2023 and sent via email.
Is the defence letter and the witness statement the same thing?

No, as @Coupon-mad writes, they are different animals and the witness statement supports and backs up what you wrote in your defence.  Recent examples, apart from searching for the latest ones are by @Harry77, @imulsion and @Defendant911 and they can ONLY be used as examples of format and style.

oh my god, oh my god, i hadn't read this until today, and now I have to forward the witness statement in one hour? Can you URGENTLY help please?
Is there a sample I can use as a template?
@Le_Kirk, how do I get the samples you mentioned? When I click on the names I can only see the person's details

There are NO WS templates here 

When you click on their names,  to see their profile,  click on the threads option  ( the topics they started  ) their WS will be in the court claim topic near the end of it, rinse and repeat for each member 

You dont have to get it there today,  but ASAP,  the sooner the better but no rushing , but you were aware of todays deadline months ago , its on the picture you posted ages ago   )

Also,  please change your thread title to something more suitable like

thank you, @Gr1pr, but I respectfully think the deadline was today, and I only have an hour. That's what it looks like on the second picture I posted earlier.
I received the letter only a month ago and i believed that the witness letter and the defence letter were the same thing.
I hope I can just send it via email, and I'll just try and do what I can do.. what happens if they don't receive it today?

It is today,  4pm, the order you posted months ago says so, it's not a surprise,  but better to be late than nit at all, the court wont process it tonight anyway,  so get it done and emailed to the local court and to dcb legal too

Have you received their WS bundle yet   ?  You both have the same deadline in one hour's time   !

Dont speculate,  just get it done,  and please change your thread title too

Ps, you redacted the date on the actual court order so I had no idea when it was sent  ( you also left your full name showing on those pictures too  )

The order mentions a trial date November so it doesn't make sense that you have a WS deadline of today,  6 months earlier , although it may change after June. On the other hand there are far too many discontinuations and cancellations so perhaps they seek to fill in the blanks  ?

You realise you need to put exhibits with it? See the exhibit list in the NEWBIES thread.

Read the section on WS stage; slow down. Just do it tonight. That's fine. Same day.
