I have just contacted Lakeland regarding an order that was due to be delivered today but failed to arrive and was just told that they would refund the order and when the order arrives I can keep it with their compliments. Now that is good service but especially as my order was over £30! If this is right then great service, interested in other experiences.
Consider anything only don't cry!

I once ordered something from them but it wasnt quite what I had expected and so I wanted to return it, when I phoned they immediately refunded me and told me to keep the product anyway.0

We have had the same expierence as you emg, ordered something, wasn't quite as described, got refunded and told to keep the item.0

yes, this is typical of the high level of service you can expect from Lakeland. I have been a customer for over 25 years and they are the best retailer to deal with in my opinion.0

A couple of years ago I had something that was faulty, they replaced it immediately and specifically asked me not to bother returning the faulty item.0

Odd operation Lakeland went in their shop in Edinburgh a few weeks back, lot of overpriced rubbish0

Is this Lakeland Leather or Lakeland Kitchenware? The Kitchenware shop is overpriced and the staff in my one are all very staid.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

The Kitchenware shop if you can call it that but it was full of any sort of Xmas tack they could make a £ out of - Belgian Chocolates, Decorations etc0 -
Lakeland do have good customer service. I think it is the smaller cheaper items they let you keep, or give to charity rather than the more expensive ones, if you ask for a refund.
There are some items that I would not dream of buying, but on the whole the products are good quality, if a little more expensive. I have baking trays that I expect to last almost a lifetime from them and I know if a product fails me, then they will do something about it. The staff are friendly and helpful and not staid at all where I shop.
Do some people regard quiet good manners as staid these days?A refreshing change from the shops where music is loud and the staff don't give a hoot.

I ordered some cleaner for solid wood floors and was delighted to find a free gift of a full roll of aluminium foil. Very handy this time of year and a lovely touch.

I had a free roll of the foil in with my order as well. It was perfect for the Turkey.0
