Are these new-builds, RP? If so, you could also try contacting the developer/builder, and ask about this - and their advice on how to handle it. If you can add to this neighbour, "And the developer says/confirms..." then all the better.(If the earlier comment by Rigo - "no need be so condescending" - was aimed at me and my "don't be bolshie" advice, then may I clarify that I wasn't implying you are or would be, but just to not be that way at all - simply pleasant and matter-of-fact (regardless of how bolshie they may be!).You have your evidence ready to show them, and you are just asking them to prove their claim of ownership. You never know, they might have been misinformed by their vendor or EA, but that is their problem. The deeds will say it as it is. So worth checking theirs too - even give them a copy of the relevant partDoes this (presumed) estate have a management/maintenance company for the communal parts - the mowing of lawns, the repairing of outer fences, etc? If so, that's another contact to make.0

They were built in the 1980s I think.
I've spoken to the owner of the house and they just say it was included in their Sale. So the replies I've had confirm that you go by the deeds and title plan.
Im going to write him a letter with copies of both out title plans to show it's mine and his query needs to be with the previous owner or their solicitors
Thanks for all your help2 -

I doubt it will, but I wonder if the sales partics of this other property mentions the location of their allocated parking?
But, the (two copies of the) deeds is the way to go.
