I think some Hondas use a three light warning for the brakes.

    ABS warning
Looks something like ((ABS)) in red or orange.

    The brake fluid/pressure warning light.
Looks something like this ((!)) in red.

    Handbrake warning.
Looks something like ((P)) in red.

If it's just ((P)) on it's own, that is the handbrake warning switch.

Quite often, if there is a problem with the braking system you get both ((! )) and ((P)) lit.
This could mean a pressure problem, like the differential switch warning due to a leak on one of the two braking circuits or fluid level problem.
Just because it's full doesn't mean the sensor or wiring to it hasn't a short.

I am not sure of the latest model, but I think most Jazz have acoustic pad wear warnings (squealers).

It could even be a brake light on the back of the car being blown.

It's this one ((!)), the manual suggests a different image for fluid level issues.

Its the dimming that throws me, I'm wondering if it's the back brakes binding....?

Will have a look at the rear brake lights in a minute, hadn't considered that.

Not related to the brake lights.

    Well....figured it out....

She had switched off her parking sensors, which when switched back on switched off the dimmer ((!)) warning light!

    Go figure!
