Hi guys,
hope you’re all well. I have come across this forum after receiving a County Court Claims Judgement notice from Civil Enforcement Limited.
The parking in dispute happened in 2022 this was at 4-12 park street Slough. It is parking bays behind a parade of shops. As this was last year I do not recall even parking here or why I went there. However the car is registered to my name and I am the only driver so I must of been the person driving.

I do not recall receiving any letters or correspondence from CEL before receiving this letter. I have read through the previous threads and the newbies template thread. I have lost sleep about this speeding ticket as I cannot afford to have a CCJ on my record due to my nature of work.
The issue date for this letter is 25/07/2023 so reading previously i should wait 5 days to fill out my AOC is this correct?
the fine amount is £280 including court fees. I am so worried about this but do not want to pay this cowboy company.

The problem I am facing I do not know what to write on my defence I will go back to visit and take pictures of any signage I have attached what I have found on Google maps.
I would really appreciate any help on what to write for the defence.
The signage isn’t really great for this car park and also there is always people loitering around there so I’m not even sure I saw the signs If I did park there.
Thanks for any help.

Have you received a CCJ or have you only received a Claim form? You have to be a bit clearer.0 -
It's not a fine and we hope you haven't got a judgment! Just a bog standard doomed claim?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

More detail follows...With a Claim Issue Date of 25th July, you have until Monday 14th August to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 29th August 2023 to file your Defence. That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave the preparation of it to the last minute. However, you should leave the filing of it as late as possible. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.1 -
Thanks you for the help. I will wait until the 30th to file a AOS. I have attached the front of the letter as requested. I am just not sure what to write in section 3 of the defence.0
