Thanks for your view on this and confirming that I want to be in the position financially that I should be in, after their flight cancellation.

Yes, no trying to reroute us.  I'm sure other have tried getting through to their Customer Service helpline and share my bad experiences.  It's diabolical; I have lost hours of my life on there only to be given the hand of sorry we can't help, use the online form.
