Who to complain to...

Hi folks,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this. We bought 2 settees from oak furniture land. We've had them 5 months now but they've become very faded and bally/fuzzy.
A technician came out to look at it and say that it's tweed and therefore it does this (first bone of contention is that it's not advertised as this material). He said it doesn't look great but advised that oak furniture land will change his claim status to invalid because of this.
He told us to look at the description etc. and see how it's advertised. We did this and there is no mention of tweed as a material.
Secondly, we were advised to make sure our ASD son stops wearing the only type of clothes that he tolerates on it. So he's not able to sit on it.
OFL advise that you vacuum and dust regularly but the technician said no, you need to regularly steam it only for the condition to return straight back to what it was.
The technician also said you need to use a defuzzer regularly but again it will return to bally and fuzzy soon after.
As stated above, the aftercare of the product doesn't advise these things otherwise we would not have bought it. The appearance of the settee is appalling.
OFL have dismissed the complaint but I want to know if there's any body that I can take it to as they're refusing to accept anything we say.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have a link to the product?
In the first instance you need to make your complaint to them, if you aren't happy with their response you could ask them if they subscribe to an Alternative Dispute Resolution service (I see they aren't members of the Furniture Ombudsman) and/or court after a letter before action.
Alternatively, how did you pay for it? If its a credit card then you could look at the S75 route with your card issuer
For Court or S75 you are going to need an independent engineers report on it and their views on if its reasonable wear based on the stated materials, price point etc.0
