Shawbrook Messages?

  • Wow I have messaged Shawbrook 3 times to close my ISA account and they have not replied, tried to call them as well and waited 20 mins and gave up, anyone else having issues with them?
  • I have POA on a fixed rate ISA with them and recently received a maturity letter and pack. POA’s are unable to have online access. Tried calling at different times over last 3 days as had an enquiry about adding funds. Sent maturity instructions by post in the end and will put new ISA funds elsewhere. Would prefer online access but not possible and happy to reinvest maturing funds.

I find in response to secure messages they are usually either very slow to respond, respond but don't answer the question I asked, or dont respond at all.

Ditto. I gave up with them - life is too short. I also had to re login after each action as it was impossible to go back a step without being logged off. On one occasion that meant six logins in fifteen minutes.

I've never had a problem with using their SM function or the completion of action taken. They are a small(ish) organisation and I accept that it may take a few days yo get something actioned.

In fact only last week I SM'd them as I had applied a maturity instruction that I needed to cancel, and if they were able to I would re-submit instructions to roll in to another 1 year FR deal.  Yesterday received a confirmation they had revised thr maturity instructions.
