Search next button not working

I have tried this on two browsers now. When I search for posts it comes up with say 57 posts available but when I click next at the bottom of the page it won't go on to the second page. So I can only see 10 of the results. Any idea why? same happening on Chrome and Firefox. Thanks.

Yes, I see the same when using the Opera browser.

On search results, if you manually add or insert &page=2 to the URL then Search correctly goes to page 2, and this works for all page numbers. It is just the button that is failing, the search function is fine.

Note also that both NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons are failing to add the correct &page= instruction into the URL - from page 4 pressing either button takes you to page 1.

This problem is fairly recent. (Sticking on page 1).

Whilst looking into this problem, maybe a long-term problem can be looked into.
That if one leaves a thread page on a link and then returns, one always goes to plus one page, not to the original page with the link. Thanks.
