To be honest I think it might have been a honest mistake / misunderstanding from the nurse cos all the rest of the report was spot on. Possible... but a so-called professional decision maker ultimately made the decision and should be a second pair of eyes across all evidence. The problem is the DMs see the report and seem to effectively often just rubber stamp it despite the whole world and his dog knowing they can be poor quality if not flawed. We've even seen a case where claimant was awarded zero point scoring descriptor for an activity where the report justifies selection of that descriptor by effectively stating a point scoring descriptor and the numbskull DM had either failed to spot that or failed to have the error queried to find out what the HCP actually concluded in their head.Cheesephetamine said:To be honest I think it might have been a honest mistake / misunderstanding from the nurse cos all the rest of the report was spot on.
