ThanksI tried the 17 one but I looked more glittery than sunkissed, so maybe more expensive ones are the way to go!
If it hurts no-one, let it be :beer:0 -
I have found a Favourite waterproof mascara - Lash Power Mascara Long-Wearing Formula from clinique for £12,50 @ boots
(you get - 1000 Extra Points with 3+ selected Premium Beauty at the moment)
its water & smudge proof & you take it off with just warm water
its also Dark Chocolate excellent as i am very fair
i tried to get it to smudge but it stayed on all day :j
the first mascara i have liked - i just need a bit of volume & colour so perfect for me"what lies behind us & what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us" Ralph Waldo Emerson0 -
Estee lauder double wear foundation is the best ever - it really does last all day,Mac bronzer is another couldn't live without product, and YSL mascara is just fab !
I'm a real make up junkie, my idea of bliss is to spend a day " touring" the cosmetic counters, infact I'm that sad, that when I go to the airport, I get as excited going round the duty free make up as I do thinking about my holiday !! ( think I need therapy)
I LOVE Estee Lauder double wear too. It's ace and looks natural and really lasts. It's one of my investments.
Dove tanning moisturiser is my favourite, I find the colour lasts and develops quickly. It can smell a little biscuity after a while but I find it's worth it for the result.
As for budget make up I like the colours and price of H&M make up. Great fashion make up for a low price, ideal since that bright orange might not be so 'you' in 2 months time!
Lee Stafford heat defense straightening spray smells divine and works very well at smoothing a protecting.
There's more I'm sure but Double Wear is my saviour, even when I look double rough!SW Start date 30.09.2011

hoorah for double wear!!!! i kind of wish i'd never tried it in a way...sometimes i will go without my food shop and eat all the horrible old tins out of the cupboard if i run out before paydayWins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0 -
Thank you to everyone for this thread.... a great read. I'm obviously going to have to go and investigate Double Wear! Are you all being paid by them? Is it OK for sensitive skin? Most things seem to make me go red & my face sting, except No 7 for some reason..
Here are mine - not very exciting I'm afraid... I am 53, still prone to spots but starting to wrinkle up now
No 7 Protect & Perfect Serum - tho' I'm pretty sure the Boots Expert Scar care serum is almost the same (see the Boots grabbit thread)
Olay totaleffects7 anti ageing + blemish care moisturiser FANTASTIC, light & effective
No7 Foundation - sometimes Intelligent Colour - Great - but recently I've been won over to Age Rewind, just a bit more coverage
Touche Eclat - what more can I say?
Currently using Genie Cashmere powder from QVC but will go back to No7 loose translucent
No7 Highlights blusher but love dandelion powder from Benefit
Smashbox cream eyeliner - easy to apply & smudge and every colour a winner
Currently on L'Oreal waterproof Le Grande Curl mascara - doesn't make my eyes water or sting
Need a better lipstick - currently on No7 Plum Beautiful - can anyone recommend something longish lasting and more of a natural raspberry colour? Not a gloopy lipgloss
And then.... and why doesn't anyone else swear by this? - Lipcote. How can you manage without it?
Also a big Liz Earle fan (can you see a QVC link here?) but too lazy & tight to buy often so buy supermarket or Olay facewashes..
Thanks again....0 -

Hi Mathsus!
I bought Estee Lauder's mascara Double Wear yesterday and it's absolutely brilliant. Most mascara's I have used has smudged but not this one.
Debenhams are having an offer on this at the moment, please see below for the thread I did yesterday.
