Fab thread, I've come over all girly :T !
I've recently discovered YSL's Exfoliating lip balm.
It's perfect for smoothing dry, winter lips :snow_laug .
It tastes of strawberries and leaves a really refreshing minty zing.
Bit pricey but I love it :smileyhea .0 -

double wear covers an awful lot - if you go to an EL counter, they usually give you a couple of days worth to try!Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0 -

Ooh, just saw this thread and thought 'I must add Clarins' Instant Smooth,' only to see that Debt_Free_ Chick has beaten me to it! This is fab stuff, it makes your skin feel so smooth and soft and foundation just glides on!

I have a pot of that. Miracle stuff! :j
I have tried every makeup range under the sun and here are my faves.
Best foundation - Christian Dior Diorskin Eclat Satin Moisture Release - my skin is so dry and this stuff is fantastic!!
Best eyeliner - Lancombe - Le Crayon Kohl Waterproof
Best mascara - Christian Dior DiorShow - bar none, its the best!!!
Best lipgloss - Christian Dior DiorAddict Ultra Gloss
Best tinted moisturiser for when I don't need foundation - Estee Lauder DayWear Plus with SPF15
Best moisturiser - Dermalogica Skin Smoothing CreamA cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0 -
ooh I love this thread Ive just read through all 8 pages.
As a girl who used to buy all the expensive products Ive had to cut back in recent years and found some cheaper alternatives so when I do make an indulgant purchase it has to be worth it, so here goes..
firstly I cant believe no-one has mentioned Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream - its fab on lips and cheeks and any dry skin and it lasts forever my tube is about 4 years old and still going.
Agree with lots of others Dallas by Benefit is a fab natural looking blusher/bronzer but I didnt like their Bad Gal mascara it was disapointing.
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker is great lip plumping gloss and if you are ever in the states pick up some Victorias Secret Lip gloss tubes theyre lovely.
I dont really use foundation but used to use Clinique Almost make-up, I now have Tesco Skin Wisdom Visibly Radiant tinted moisturiser which is a bargain and does the job just as well.
For Mascara I find L'Oreal about the best of the cheaper ones and No.7 liquid eyeliner pen is great when they have it, but they often run out.
My favorite tip is the sachets of Montagne Jeunnesse Face masks - the Chocolate one is divine it smells like having chocolate mousse smeared on your face and it gives a good facial for about £1
Finally I read on here in a different thread that Bourjois is made by Chanel and Marks and Spencer skin products are made by Clarins so next time I will be trying some of their products!0
